你真的在10.7上安装了Xcode 4.1吗？单单从应用商店下载是不够的；你还需要手动运行它下载到/Applications里的安装程序。

Homebrew对我来说很好用。要用Homebrew安装GDAL 1.9，你只需要这样做：
brew install gdal
Homebrew需要xcode，我觉得还需要命令行工具。更多信息可以在这里找到。

你可以试试从这个网站下载已经编译好的程序：http://www.kyngchaos.com/software/frameworks。
另外，你用1.7.1版本是有什么特别的原因吗？我觉得1.8.1是现在最新的版本。
需要注意的是：我不确定GDAL的OSX版本是否已经支持Lion系统。
