pip中的“在安装记录中找不到.egg信息目录”是什么意思？

自从更新最新的setuptools（6.0.1）之后，我收到一个警告（黄色）

Could not find .egg-info directory in install record for ...

所有我更新的包。例如，当更新Twisted时

Could not find .egg-info directory in install record for Twisted from https://pypi.python.org/packages/source/T/Twisted/Twisted-14.0.2.tar.bz2#md5=.... in /Library/Python/2.7/site-packages

然而，包更新似乎成功了。

这个警告是什么意思？我该怎么应对呢？

对我来说，升级setuptools不起作用，起作用的是更新pip:

pip install --upgrade setuptools pip

（我也包括了setuptools来处理这两个问题）

这似乎是a bug introduced in 6.0.1，fixed在setuptools6.0.2中。
