M2Crypto在虚拟环境中无法安装，或swig未定义__x86_64__导致无法与OpenSSL编译

我正在尝试在一台运行 x86_64 RHEL 6.1 的机器上，把 Python 的 M2Crypto 包安装到一个虚拟环境中。这个过程需要用到 swig，但它出现了以下错误：

$ virtualenv -q --no-site-packages venv
$ pip install -E venv M2Crypto==0.20.2

我已经通过 RedHat 的 RPM 包安装了 OpenSSL 1.0.0。

导致错误的 /usr/include/openssl/opensslconf.h 文件中的部分内容看起来是这样的：

gcc 这个编译器有正确的变量定义：

$ echo | gcc -E -dM - | grep x86_64
#define __x86_64 1
#define __x86_64__ 1

但显然 swig 没有这个定义，因为这是出错的那一行：

swig -python -I/usr/include/python2.6 -I/usr/include -includeall -o \
  SWIG/_m2crypto_wrap.c SWIG/_m2crypto.i

有没有办法通过修改系统配置来解决这个问题？M2Crypto 是在一个我无法控制的更大脚本中安装到虚拟环境里的，所以最好不要去改动 M2Crypto 的文件。

我这样做了，效果很好：

env SWIG_FEATURES="-cpperraswarn -includeall -I/usr/include/openssl" pip install M2Crypto

当然，你得先用 sudo yum install swig 安装 swig。

你就是没有安装 swig 这个工具。

试试这个：

sudo yum install swig

然后：

sudo easy_install M2crypto

M2Crypto提供了一个叫做fedora_setup.sh的脚本，用来解决在Fedora、RL和CentOS这些系统上遇到的问题，但pip并不知道这个脚本的存在。

当你用pip安装失败后，它会把下载的文件留在venv/build/M2Crypto这个文件夹里。你可以这样做：

cd <path-to-your-venv>/venv/build/M2Crypto
chmod u+x fedora_setup.sh
./fedora_setup.sh build
./fedora_setup.sh install

这个方法在我的安装过程中是有效的。
